Gus

Well, we have crossed the 2-week threshold with Gus. Still no pictures to put up (we need to find Kari's connection for her camera). He is really, overall, a sweet dog. He loves to snuggle in the evenings and has taken to sleeping on the bed. He does quite well but we've both come to realize the act of sleeping in has permanently disappeared from our lives. But we'd rather get up and take him out than him having an "accident" in the house. He has had a couple of those and we're working patiently to get him to "go potty" outside. We praise him and celebrate with him when he does the right thing. He's our work in progress- since he's been with us he's learned to "sit", "lay down", catch a ball, and become a slightly better walker on a leash. We love him!
